Activate your KauID

KauID is your digital identity as a student at Karlstad University.

You will use your KauID during your entire period of study to access services like My Kau, Canvas LMS, the wireless network, Ladok for students, library services and more.

If you have a Swedish personal identity number, you can activate your KauID with Swedish electronic identification or an account at eduID or universityadmissions.se. If you are an exchange student with a personal code number, you can use universityadmissions.se. If none of the online alternatives work, you can order an activation code, but this may take a few days.


When you have logged in with Freja+ you will be sent back here to complete the activation of your KauID.

When you have logged in with BankID you will be sent back here to complete the activation of your KauID.

When you have logged into eduid.se with your account details you will be sent back here to complete the activation of your KauID.
